I've got a couple of friendly and not so friendly tournaments coming up and am thinking about taking the following list. I'm kind of hampered by the amount of models I have painted and can only add 8 cold one models, a carnosaur and some characters.
What do you think of the list? Weaknesses?
- Rumination (+1 pd), Cogitation (ignore 6's), Mystery (loremaster: Life)
* Cupped Hands, Bane Head
+ Standard of Discipline
26 Saurii FC
30 Skink cohorts, FC, 3 kroxigor
10 Skink Cohorts, mu
2 x 6 Chamelon skinks
2 x 3 Terradons
22 Temple Guard, FC, flaming, ironcurse icon
1 x baby stegadon
1 x salamander
1 x ancient stegadon
no more then 2 of the same special choises are allowed, no more then 1 rare.
The TG, Saurii and Skink-krox are the main combat units with the stegadons charging along. Rest is there for support / distraction / baiting etc.
In a tournament I very often find it difficult to make it beyond Turn 4, so there is little in the form of shooting, hide and seek etc because there is no time for that.
no more the 1 unit of rare? if so I would take a unit of 3 Salamanders!!!
What do you plan on doing with the 10 skinks?
I like my ancients with a chief/priest on them
Not much models to play with here. Your list seems like a fine start. I would consider getting a scroll caddy and maybe a scar-vet. The chameleons can always go down to 3. You could lose a unit of terradons, maybe adding one of them to the other unit. The temple guard could be a little smaller as well. Also, as life doesn't have much in the way of direct damage, I would lose the banehead item.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.

I know the model selection is small, I only started out with them recently and this is all I have painted.
The bane head is on the Slann for 'Dwellers' because on most tournaments i'm going to it's ruled as to only cause 1 wound isntead of insta-kill, so are other spells. Then again, it might not be worth the extra points.
I would love to include a scrollcady or scar vet, but find the chameleons and terradons invaluable to take out cannons early (who can -really- ruin my Stegadons day )
I would also love to play with a differnt lore since Life is a bit lame and I dont really like Light that much. Tried metal one game, but it seems a bit situational.
