The title says it all, a 500 points list with blowpipes Skink Cheif, Blowpipe, Venom of the firefly frog. 73 pts.11 Skink Skirmishers. 77 pts.10 Skink Skirmishers. 70 pts.10 Skink Skirmishers. 70 pts.10 Skink Skirmishers. 70 pts.10 Skink Skirmishers. 70 pts.10 Skink Skirmishers. 70 pts.124 poison attacks every turn Just never get into CC!
Very nice against horde armies. Vs anything with high armor or a long range gunline you're going to suffer. If you play the one that requires standards and generals, you're a sitting duck. But for fluff, it's a fun army. Enjoy!
This looks like a really fun small list to use in a lustria campaign... which we are doing soon... think I might borrow this if ya don't mind!

I am President of the Brunel University wargames society - PM me if interested.
I can imagine it being good against dwarfs scense auto wound and short movement. With movement 3 i should be able to shoot at them without having a charge on me next turn.
But the trick for this army I think is to allways sneak out off units line of sight.
Thats a movemetn of 3" which cannot be march blocked (so 6"), and at 500pts i can see 2 blocks of quarrelers with greatweapons. If your realy unlucky and its a dirty dwarf player he will switch in a warmachine (personaly id go for an organ gun).
If i were you i would try to get1-2 salamanders, maybe 2 units of 1 so that you have those nice templates to deal with infantry blocks and some decent strength attacks should you end up in combat or need to defend a flank.
Against anything with magic missiles or autohits your skinks are gonna be blown away.
Dwarfs not being alble to be marchblocked don't change their charge distance.
I see what you mean. Against some armies this doesn't stand a chance. The list is more for fun, but it would be interesting to see what armies it can tackle
Ogres? Chaos? Orcs?
I think a single salamander might be needed. Helps to deal with large blocks and high armor troops.
I agree Removing the skink unit of 11 and ad a salamander would be alot better!
The only thing is that the list looses some fluffyness it's not an all blowpipe list any more...
