well heres my army list so far:
javs and shields
javs and shields
2 dispel scrolls
diadem of power
im still not sure about what else to get. probably some more CoR's and a skar vet or oldblood to go in that unit. the only other models that i have are 7 cham skinks, 3 swarm bases, a couple more terradons, a slann and a steggie. the tactics that i will be using are pretty basic. screen with the skinks, harass and march block with the scouts and terradons, stomp them with the saurus and kroxigors and flank with the CoR. the salamanders will defend a flank or will set up next to the saurus and on the inside of the Cor and kill anything with T3 and a poor save.
also what do u think would be more effective in a 2k army, a slann, an oldblood in the CoR unit or 2 skar vets, 1 JSoD and one in the CoR unit.
any feedback and help with my army list would be greatly appreciated.
I would suggest a second unit of 20 saurus and an oldblood on foot. This way you have 2 big blocks of holding infantry, and a Lord choice general, who isn't going anywhere fast.
I would give him the following combintaion
Aura of Quetzl, Maiming Shield, Pirahna Blade, Light armour
Blessed Spawning of Quetzl, (Blessed spawning that adds +1 attack)
Any spare points give the unit he is with blessed spawning of quetzl, and/or raise the second skink priest to lv2
I hope this helps

I'd personally go a little heavier with the skinks, youre going to need lots of screening for the saurus, kroxigor, and probably hte salamanders until they get closer. plus never underestimate teh power of poison: against enemy mosters and larger units that dont have as many total wounds this is invaluable.
you dont have enough points left to make a truly effective slann, so just stick with the oldblood.
if you can spare the money I would suggest a unit of chameleons instead of the scouting skinks, they can get nice and close when deployed, so they dont take range penalties, the enemy will HAVE to engage them in close combat to kill them, and they also have a higher ballistic skill which means that you dont have to get as many of them to do a good job.
thanks for posting guys
well ive had i good think about it and heres the few things that ive added:
2 more CoR
mark of sotek, mark of itzl, Light armour, cold one, venom of the firefly frog, great weapon
mark of sotek, mark of quetzl, light armor, shield, charm of the jaguar warrior, scimitar of the sun resplendent, glyph necklace
7 chameleon skinks
well, i would love another saurus block but, i only have 19 or 20 of them. the oldblood will pretty much kill anything without a rank bonus, especially archers. it will also double team with the kroxigors or saurus particularly nasty units. the CoR are sorta gonna be my game winners, they can pretty much brake anthing in the game on the charge. but i am a little hesitant in putting all my hopes in a unit with stupidity.
Way too many points in caracters, I'd either drop the skink priest for a single priest with 2 scrolls, and try to invest in a second unit of saurus warriors.
well, i would love to add another unit of saurus but, i only have 20 of them and have no money to buy any more, so yeh.
and thanks for posting guys
