So I finally figured out that there are only two Scar-vets/Old Blood models, and they both come with swords and shields. Do the majority of you guys just proxy the models for JSoD and BsBs or have any of you actually converted any?
Since I don't plan on using Temple guards just yet, I was thinking of using a Temple Guard standard bearer as a Scar-Vet BsB. I was also thinking of taking a Krox model and converting it into my JSoD. Any thoughts?

are you set on a tournement army or at local GW stores? if not this is the guy i used for a saurus BSB just gave him a head swap:
i painted him to fit my friends army (as i didnt have lizardmen at the time) and he fits in fine, like i said the only thing would be to swap his head add myabe the slann's standard in place of the mace and there you go =]
hope this helps, if not u can always do what my mate attempted, he made a very impressive banner and had a scar veteren hold it with his tail, sounds starnge i kno but it looks really impressive =]
hope this helps
I used a regular saurus scar vet model with a saurus cold one rider spear arm(I clipped the spear tip off) and a slann banner glued on
why do you bother to look at people's sigs???
I've been using the standard bearer from the temple guard (since I don't run them) and have used their command group to create some other scar vets.
