I was just looking at the Lizardmen and wandered about doing conversions for wierd things and I came up with some ideas.
Real Chameleon Skinks = Paint them Grey and pretend they're statues for a skirmish. Strange moving Lizard statues.
Cool Looking Slan - Take the Stegadon and the Slann Mage, take the top off of the Stegadon where all the skinks go and replace it with the Slann's Chair and put the Slann on top.
Any more ideas?
Not sure if this was the right bit to put this topic, But it is Lizardmen.
There is actually an Old Slann Special Character that are mounted just like that think i recall the name to be Lord Mazdamundi."Cool Looking Slan - Take the Stegadon and the Slann Mage, take the top off of the Stegadon where all the skinks go and replace it with the Slann's Chair and put the Slann on top."
Well the obvious reason for that is that Games Workshop went forward in time, saw this post, went back and made it. *Shifty eyes*
But it would still look cool, maybe instead of Stegadon, A large terradon.
I did this once and came up with rules for it- it attracted SO much missile fire that the rest of my army would generally hit unscathed. Add to that the nastiness of the "I heal all wounds" spell, a 2+ save, improved ward 2nd gen- plus playing against a dwarf army as reg. oppos i generally took the diadem and plaque of tepok- at last the dwarf magic phase is good for something!
I'm planning on making huge terradon from new plastic high elf dragon.
