Generally speaking, all of the Lizardman special characters are vastly overpriced for what they do, especially compared with other army special characters.

If I HAD to use one, it'd either be Kroq'Gar, Oxytl, or possibly Gor'Rok. I've always wondered how Gor'Rok might do against a dark elf army.

Even so, I wouldn't take any of them on my own free will.

I am not in love with any of the special characters either. The only one I ever really consider is Gor'Rok.

He's too over priced, they all are. The only special character I have used with great success in a game was Oxyotl against new skaven.

His sniping out a specific model in units rule is awesome at removing packmasters from rat ogre packs, they then suffer from stupidity

But that's really the only time I have gotten a great result from the special characters.

Yeah, as said above the special characters are pretty awful. But i did have some fun with Kroak in a 6000pt game, nuked my opponents entire infantry centre. But then he failed his look ouit sire and vanished into the pit of shades cast by teclis. Tik'Taq'Toe is fairly useful, means you can really "bring the rain" on an opponent with a gunline, but turning up randomly makes him unreliable at best.

He's apparently the only guy in WHFB that can attack before an assassin. I found that out the hard way. Otherwise, he's not so bad.

Chakax goes before an assassin too, and so does a wood elf character with a piece of gear whose name escapes me at the moment.

from what I have seen, Tenhenhuham seems to be a very notable LORD selection that offers a lot to a LM players, definitely not in the same mold as the other lord level LM characters.
