In games under 2k, I was wondering where the best placement for the scar-veteran (general) and the BSB (another scar-vet) would be?
In a block of saurus? Temple guard? I don't think on their own would be a good idea.
It all depends on what you are running, i personally never take TG under 2000pts. If i take a BSB under 2000pts, he would definately run with the saurus, as would my general unless he is mounted in which case if i am using cold one cavalry, he would run with them. Although if he has the glyph necklace and enchanted shield, he will survive a little on his own (on a cold one).-Hope-This-Helps-
Thanks for the quick reply, and helpful tips
As always it depends on whom you are going up against.
If your unit of Saurus Infantry is big enough to be above reproach in combat remember that the enemy is going to be sending every magic and war machine he has against it. Maybe having several 20 strong blocks of Saurus would work in case a unit is taking too much damage from one unit to jump to another.
