    New kiddy to the pond...

So I just won a battalion box, and I already have the army book.
As I put together and painting everything...
What do my next purchases look like to get to a 2000-2250 point army?

    Thank you,
    Pia.

Typical items found in a 2000-2250 army, and not included in the batallion box

    Lord:
Either a Slann Mage-Priest or Old-Blood on Carnosaur
    Heroes:
Skink Priest on an Ancient Stegadon and/or on foot.
Saurus ScarVet either on foot, or mounted on a Cold-One (one cavalry in the box can count as this)

    Core Units:
    More Saurus Warriors
    More Skink Skirmishers

    Specials:
Teradon Riders (3-5, 4 probably ideal)
    Chameleon Skinks (5-7)
    More Temple Guard (possibly command)

    Rares:
Salamander Hunting Pack (1 or 2, possibly run in separate units)
Razordon Hunting Pack (2 in a unit seems to be a nice number)

And basically based on how you want to play the army you mix and match the numbers till it works for you.
Myself, being fairly new to warhammer - I started off with a smaller army and will slowly build myself up... picked up a lot of little units individually first and soon when I go to expand I'll finally pick up the batallion box.

Generally though after 1000 points you'll probably want an ancient stegadon, your teradon unit (4 of them - possibly pick up tiqtaqto to proxy as a chief for smaller games - he's a nice looking model imo), and a salamander. Camo skinks are a personal preference if you want to play with scouts or not, and if not the cavalry in your box are good as one of the special units as well. Temple guard probably would be one of the last pickups after you get your slann.

For core units - you'll probably in the end be looking at roughly 36 warriors and between 30-40 skirmishers.

Spot on Caeldan, although i would recommend 3 razordons if you purchase them at all, they are definatley best in max units.

    Thanks....
I am thinking of picking up an Old-Blood on Carnosaur first.
