    Painting saurus warriors!

Hi all just recently started a Lizardmen army and i am having a hard time getting the back part of the saurus to look good. On the back of the saurus where the scales are at the shoulders it is like they forgot to break it up and it is just one solid scale I was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas as I am not a very good green stuff user either thanks!

Armies: 40k: Imperial Guard, Orks Fantasy: Skaven

To add more scale detail I usually use a small craft knife to etch in more detail lines onto the model, you shouldn't have to do much work with the knife to make the new scales look realistic, just watch your fingers!
