Hey guys i was wondering if this could be a possible 3000pt list of monsters, i highly doubt i'd ever use it since theirs way to many stegadons and cold ones that i'd never be able to justify spending that much money on something i only need a few of, but a few guys and i got into a discussion about Jurassic Park and then obviously moved on to my lizardmen and then i mentioned something i'd heard of called a jurassic park list and told them i'd try and make one to show them what i was talking about. I just don't know if this is a legal list or not because of how many stegadons i have in it, let me know guys!
Skink Priest 355pts
Ancient Stegadon w/ Engine of the Gods 290pts
Skink Chief 290pts
20 Cold One Cavalry 750pts
Standard Bearer 20pts
Huanchi’s Blessed Totem 25pts
Ancient Stegadon 275pts
You are allowed up to 3 Stegadons (I think 6 in 3000+ points) but your cold one cavalry are not core so you do need some core units.
Kroq Gar has a special rule that states that a single unit of cold ones may be fielded as a core unit. So there is enough core.
You are not allowed a certain number of stegadon, but a certain number of special and rare unit duplicates. All fall within the allowed maximum.
The list looks legal to me, not good, but legal.
haha yeah i knew it was a horrible list, but its a cool looking one on the field with so many giant dinosaurs running around and my friends didn't believe it was possible. i suppose i could remove a stegadon and put in some salamanders and maybe some razordons for a more varied list, nut their lacking the size of the stegadons for more of a monstrous rampage list. i was also considering removing a regular stegadon and includeing a unit of terradons for some fast moving units. all in all the "Jurassic Park" list seems unfeasible for use in anything but a game where your just trying to have fun and shock the crap out of your opponent.
Ah I didn't look up the character and I never use the special characters, but I guess I should have before I commented. And yes you would have a lot better time with the salamanders in there to have something to help with large blocks in my opinion. Terradons or chameleon skinks would make this much more viable as well as you would have something to take out warmachines and generally harass the opponent from behind. I like chameleons better but terradons are more in fitting with the theme. I hope it works out decent for ya!
It is indeed a legal list, as said above.
I would, again as stated earlier, drop a regular stegadon to get some salamaders (preferably 2 units of 2) and maybe a unit of chameleon skinks. Although those tend to die quickly when fighting under my standard. The cold one unit looks brutal to me as do all the stegadons. I think the worst enemy to face would be horde enemies... maybe you should also think about making the skink chief the BSB.
