Hi has anyone had any luck coverting tyranid gargoyle brood into terradon riders? Was thinking of not putting their arms on and greenstuffing the gaps. then green stuff some legs. Just having trouble coming up with somthing for the head (coldone head maybe) also
how could i get a skink to sit on it? Any help and ideas would be great.
Cold one heads aren't very avian though - if you're not averse to using non-GW products then have a look around for dinosaur heads for pterodactyls or something like that?
For the skink, you could always take a leaf out of the wood elf warhawk rider's book and have him 'surfing' the creature. If you definitely want him sitting then you could use the legs from the skinks on coldones box as those are riding legs - Or just open out the stance of a pair of regular skink legs and fill gaps with greenstuff.

Also they will probably be covered in another wave of finecast so try wait till then and your options may expand or you may not really want to convert.

I did some a while back and like them more than the actual terradons. It was pretty straight forward. I 'll post a pic later today.
To add to the lizardy look, I fashioned some "hats" for the birds out of spare bitz.
