First question is, how many of you use Cold One Cav, and at 2200 points how many would be too many? Question two is, does a Slann actually have melee attacks and/or supporting attacks in a unit of Temple Guards? It may seem like a strange question, but the book doesnt list him as having any weapons so I was just wondering.
Stay awhile, and listen...
I use cold ones semi regularly. But when I do use them, I usually have a character on a cold one as well. Unit size I go with is 5 or 6.
All models have hand weapons. The slann will have one attack.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
I've made lizard lists in the 2K-2.5K range and have used usually only one unit of 5, rarely 2. I don't bother with command of any sort as I can't see it really helping much in the role I use them as flankers/supporting blocks of saurus which have standards and music. Although they have a great armor save and Str.5 on a charge, 5 of them can be swapped for 16(almost!) saurus who won't be burdened with stupidity and are going to be able to bring rank bonus to bare.
....I own 24 of the damn things though.

As a I recall a Slann in a unit of TG has a rule where it does not have to be in the front rank, it can be in the back one with a rule where it can hover up to cast spells and slink back down afterwords and have LOS with it's target. Don't know if this is still in effect
