    I think I am going to build a Skink army, based on the Southland rules, and equiping pretty much every possible unit/character with the Sacred Blessing of Huanchi, anyone haveany suggestions, thanks...

    How bout you dont. Its a horrible army. Out of all the lists in the back of the book, they had to legalize that one.

    Get about 60 skinks for your army, then just fill up the rest with Kroxigor. They giant sarus that work well with skinks, and enemies hate them.

    Dont listen to those to, get at least 2 units of skinks with javlin, and 2 units of scouting skinks with blowpipes. Get one or units of horned one riders,as fast cav are awsome cause they can march and shoot. Get one or two units of 4 kroxigor with ancients, 3 salies and stegadon. Fill the rest up with what you like, should do good.

    you shouldnt ingore terradons, they are among the best flyers out there. scouts are awesome at assassinating mages, because the poison just owns them. and lastly stegadons own on the charge(D6 +1 S5 impact hits ouch) and are really hard to wound/kill. my main opponent is lizard, so i know the army pretty well. also priests are pretty sweet when they scout and reign the lore of heavens on the army. stay away from close combat, leave that up to kroxigors and steggs.
    The absence of wrath is an impediment to utilizing your true strength.

    Get about 150-200 skinks half w/ shortbows and 1/4 with the other two options respectivly,2 blocks of saurus,1 w/ a sacred spawning to make them a rare. With the remaining 3 special slots,get several terradons and two big squads of kroxigors. Dont think you could afford a slan,but trust me that army is insanely good...

    I'm assuming it's the extra range and the fact that its poisoned.

    Skinks may not ordinarily be equipped with shortbows; only blowpipes or javelines/ shields. But in a Southlands army they may take poisoned shortbows.
