i have been having some hard thought laterly and cant really work out the most effective way of using terradons as it says in the title . i mean dont all of you just say flanking, war machine hunting , hit and run. i want to really know the most effective way. or if there is more than one please say . thanks
i find a good use for terradons is to flank or rear charge an enemy unit that is in combat with your saurus as they have a unit strength of 6 or more unless they have taken casualties and if things go bad they can just use the hit and run rule and attack again next turn if need be
my use for terradons;
sometimes i take a force with plenty of skinks and a unit (or 2 if i can) of terradons in which i harrass the enemy and often eliminating any lightly armoured units and sometimes distract my opponent long enough to buy time for my saurus to get in position for a charge when the saurus are ready and have charged my terradons can move into the flank or rear
terradons may seem expensive to just use as harrassing the enemy but as they have great movement so they can be where you want them and easily change roles if need be
well you use terradons to mainly take out units that are in the back of the army or warmachines.if you charge them in front of lets say a unit of choas knights,well you get my point there crushed so try to flank war machines
well if you see a deer scream for mercy from god
if you see a snake smile and say hello
