I'm going up to a rival Wargaming club tommorow with my Lizardmen so that we can attempt to trounce them. However, I am in need of a little help writing up a list to take on the greenskins.
Things of note:
What should I be taking in my Lizardmen army?
What should I be wary of in the Greenskin army?
How should I take out these things if their in the opposing army?

Well, not much time you give us. Don't you?
Saurus are your friends. With S4 you'll have no problem with their increased T. But with their S3 they will have problems against your T4.
And very important is the following: give ALL Saurus unit the Spawning of Tzunki. You'll have I2 and thus strike at the same time as Orcs. That could win you the battle.
As I recall one with Animosity they have to charge on a 6, you can use Skinks to draw them away if they do, just like you'd do with Frenzied units.
Another mayor use of Skinks is their poison. It'll give you a good chance to simply ignore their T4 and there's little of a save standing in the way of a dead Orc. With Gobbos the same.
And as Skinks are cheap, you can pour a lot of shots into them Greenskins.
So Skinks are important too.
Salamanders are generally good vs light armoured troops. Rinkling a bell? And as they'll surely outnumber you, you need flank protectors. Salamanders are excellent at the job.
The rest of the units all have their normal uses. An extra note on the legio fear-causers we have: Greenskins have lousy leadership, so that will good too.
So I'd say a balanced force with a good, strong core of Saurus, ample Skinks, Salamander flank guards and some fear-causing hard-hitters.
Saurus heroes are equal to Black Orc heroes, better than the rest. And Greenskins aren't noted for their magic abilities. If you don't want to concentrate on magic, you can just as well not take a Priest at all. If you do, don't expect much magic defense. Though, if he knows he's playing Lizardmen, he might build up a strong magic defense.
EDIT: you could also use Swarms as flank protectors. They're more resiliant, but don't expect them to kill as many Greenskins as Salamanders. And because they'll outnumber you seriously, you want to whittle their ranks down.
I find kroxigors behind the skink priest has proved successful in many aspects against green skins oout of experience. They can seriously damage heavy cavalry and troops and whittle down a chariot quickly. I also recommend terradons as they can seriously kill all if any of those mages sticking out or the war machines such as spear chukka. I suggest around 5. They can also distract the enemy regiments just like the skinks can but much better as they have hit and run attacks. If you don't plan to get loads of skink priest, remember to arm your general with aura of quetzl. Orcs can roll out A LOT of over strength five attacks. You can also arm him with great weapon or something llike flaming blade of chotec or piranha blade. But then yo u won't have the ward savee.......

i play orcs and the things i have to watch out for when i play lizardmen are the LD tests, panic is bad very bad, so terradons have yet another use, as is fear, so a unit of cold one riders is almost a must!
watch out for:
nasty surprises, like fanatics, netters, squig herds. these are all night goblin tricks so you should be able to spot which units to watch out for
also while you are equal to a black orc equal doesnt always mean beating!! if you get in a fight with one it could go either way so watch out but if you do kill it it makes the other guys alot easier: less LD and no quell animosity
boars, cheap heavy cavalry that can be devastating

anything that causes fear is good (krroxigor,terradons,etc) terrors better though so id go with a stegadon....mwahahahahahaha
and inside every night gobo unit theirs bound to be fanatics so charge the night gbbos with your skinks, poor buggers, to draw them out.
Sacred Host Of Tzunki. I2 means you'll be able to strike at the same time as the orcs. Lots of skinks, with the usual Kroxigor counter-attackers behnd them. Skinks will take down a giant nice and easy, so that's 205 points down the drain for him if he takes one. Jungle Swarms also work well.
beware fanatics, they really kick ass.
To destroy fanatics use skirmishing skinks to blow pipe em to death.
