Basically, what experience do you have with the greatest of all toads, and what is the lowest point battle you would use him in, if ever?
My friend used to play lizardmen and he always said that lord kroak was never worth using. I looked at lord kroak and I agree with him, I don't think you should ever use lord kroak. The reasoning behind this is if your opponent is in any way smart, he will point everything at lord kroak, and lord kroak and a unit of temple guard(I think he can join temple guard) cannot take on an entire army. This means your opponent gets the 1000+ points for lord kroak plus 400 or so points from special rules, and the unit of temple guard add up to about 2000 points. Unless you are playing like 5000 points you are going to lose. If you are playing that many points, and you somehow manage to win, you can still only get a draw because of lord kroaks special rule.

yeah i agree with will, if you really wanted to use him it would be ok at 2,500 but then no other characters reallythe thing is would that kill him, 2+ ward from shooting and 3+ in combat, high toughness, high wounds, no magic weapons. and if the lizardmen is smart he picks lore of light i believe it is and he gets healing hand that way when he suffers a few owunds hes right back on top, then the only way is combat res and hes stubborn with LD9 testing on 3d6 removing the highest. he is quite possible the hardest thing to ever kill and therefore your opponent will most probably not get the victory points for him.Originally Posted by aufde/

Beaten by an outnumbered fear-causing unit and loses they auto-break.
What about the Totem of Prophecy on a Saurus BSB in the TG unit? That would nullify the auto-breaking due to fear, as well as making the entire unit that much harder to get into a fight with. And at the points levels we're talking about, that's what, 200, 250 points?
