Check out this Lizardman army I spotted on Ebay... This is not an advert since the army has already been sold, and it sold for one thousand five hundred pounds!
What do you think?
Would you pay that much for an icky Fifth edition army!?? I think not !
Wow. Beautifully done, really, even if I think the old Saurus are rather goofy looking. The "Slann" leading it and the Stegadon are very very cool.
But no, I wouldn't pay that much for ANY army ^^
i took a good thirty mintues looking at the pictures when it was still up...i was amazed, of coarse i woudlnt pay that much:
1.) its 5th edition
2.) painting is half the fun of makign an army
3.) its ficken 3K dollars american is insane.
...and you do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around, thats what its all about.
that army is awesome, its a shame the fluff doesn't make much sense...
also i always get the feeling that by other people painted models is somehow stealing...
on top of that at £1500 this guy is also stealing from you...
That Was Friggin Awesome!!!! I'd pay 1500 pounds for that!!!! I also made a custom stegadon but that one....... whew..... How does he make that howdah!!!!!! I love every bit of it, esspecially the skinks (their the same as mine) and I agree that the salamanders and skinks were better models in 5th edition (I have 2 new ones and 1 old salamander, same with kroxigors) The stegadon was a bit over the top but hey, you know!
Fudge I want that army!!!!!! FUDGE!!!!!!

OMG THAT IS FREAKIN SWEET. I couldnt think of doing most of that stuff ..... much less doing it. ..... I REALLY REALLY LIKE THAT ARMY. I WISH I COULD HAVE BOUGHT IT. I WOULD HAVE SOLD MY CAR TO BUY IT (i dont have a car. .... but i would have sold my brothers lol)
The army is cool and sh** but pay that much money for it? naw i don't like it that much. And like every1 else was saying having some1 else paint your army is like stealing and having their whole design concept definately feels like stealing.
I think it looks ugly, painted bizarre colours, old crappy models, and ugly conversions.

The only model i dont like in his army is the stegadon. I like the colors and the old models, although they dont look as good, their paint job makes up for it. The characters look incredible it think. But i would never buy another persons painted army....especially for 3,000 dollars!
I agree actualy. It's a pretty good paint job as far as technique and skill, but I simply don't like the way it looks. The colours are too bright, they remind me of the pastel Eldar you see on CMON (god I hate those >.<). The shading is a bit overdone IMO and just adds to the "too many bright colours" problem. I don't like most of the models, they look sort of akward and unnatual, especialy the Scar Veteran at top (What's wrong with his legs?). Most of the conversions are pretty good but nothing spectacular, and I really don't like the "Stegadon" conversion. The howdah looks like it was just tossed onto the dragon with no thought to the positioning, same gos for the positioning of the dragon on top of the dinosaur. The slann simply looks retarded, it's just ugly no matter how many times I look at it.Originally Posted by Bruiser117
Overall it's a good army, not great, and definitely not worth that much money.
