would an army just made from saurus warriors and sarus based units be good?
No, wouldn't say so. It would lack magic and flexibility.
But a Saurus-centric Sacred Host of Tepok would certainly be viable.
Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD
Harvard Law Answer: It depends... Might want to have a general strategic element idea first or maybe just have a good piece of fluff to inspire you why your troops are that way....
Either way the Saurian Hordes sounds pretty cool
For the reasons Teron named I'd say no.
But Saurus-heavy armies on the other hand are most certainly feasable. In fact, if you plan on playing a Sacred Host, I'd recommend a Saurus-heavy army for most SHs. Like with a SH of Tepok, or Quetzl.
Tepok would be the only one to last, or Tzacolt with their immunity to psychology.
It would be great, with an old blood and 2 scar vets, each with the spawning of tepok for 5 dispell dice. some Saurus and Sauraus Cold One Riders, perhaps some kroxigors would be accepted?
Well, kroxigors are the giant cousins of the saurus so they shoukd be allowed in but the army would have no screeners, no flyers, no harassers, no artillery, no magic..... (in fact, nothing ranged at all) no chariot dinosaur, no scouts, in other words, no, it wouldn't work with an ALL saurus army but armies with lots of saurus work great, just they need some other units to back them up, just like most things in the game.
