    The big frog

    Hey guys,

    A very quick question;

Do we, as lizardmen players, have the most expensive special character in the game with venerable lord croak at 1'225 points?

The only army books i haven't read recently are skaven, wood elves and empire (plus storms of chaos and the recent chronicles), and i'm yet to find someone more expensive than he is.

    Many thanks,

    Stonehambey

Kroak is pretty much where it's at, as far as huge points costs go.
Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
    Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
    Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD

Kroak is definitely the most experienced. He existed before the Elves even thought of magic. And I don't know too much about Dwarven history, but I bet he's older than their ancestor gods too.

    Though technically he's dead...

It is kind of funny that the most expensive special character isn't even alive, and it's not the good kind of not alive like the undead, he's just plain dead and is a super powerfull spellcsater.

if he was alive he could be worth over ten times that points value, as he can move continents with click of his fingers, comand mountains with but a whisper and entire armies to simply vanish in a puff of smoke, though i do like the look of the mini, and thinking of getting him as a 2nd generation slann, maybe occaisionally use kroak

bit stupid for the point cost, who's gonna field him in a 2k force???
he'll be worth his points though, even though there won't be much of an army lol

No one? He is better in games of 3000pts+ (I would assume). He does look very good, but I would prefer 3 Slaan (Like I would prefer 3 Cream Eggs to 1 large hollow easter egg :w00t: It's soon....SO SOON!.....and I have no eggs.... ).
    ....He is coming for YOU....

I think Zacharias the Everliving might have us beat, I haven't looked at the Vampire Counts codex lately but I know he's very close.

I think the witch king of the dark elves is about 1000 points, not entirely sure though.
