Welcome to Librarium Online!
There are similar posts going around in the dark elf and bretonnian forums and I figured I'd copy them because it is an interesting discussion topic. What armies, as a lizardmen player, do you hate facing the most? I can't really speak because I just played my first real game of fantasy today, and I bought Lizardmen!.... and got totally pwned by a forest spirit wood elves army consisting of 3 units of dryads, 2 units of fast cav a big tree bastard and some type of minor wizard . But I do love my lizzies so far! So, out with it lads, who do you just hate to see deploy on the other side of the tabletop?
Well, I don't really want this thread to die before it started, so I'll put in my opinion. pesonally for me, it's night goblins. I hate fanatics sooo much. However, I've only ever played a couple games, and they were all against a goblin player. After that would be his black orc warboss. Completely rules out animosity basically in the small games we play, so he has no real disadvantage when he should.

The one army I despise playing against with my lizzies has to be Dwarves. I'm sure my fellow children of the Old Ones know we can chew through a few different army types with our good saurus, skinks and salamanders, but I really, really hate fighting against dwarven artillery.
Dwarves. Too much/many artillary and cannons and saurus are slow. They have good anti magic to counter my good magic and their hard to break. Other things too but that'll do for now.

I absolutely hate Tzeentch Demon armies. One guy at our local store has a pure demon army, i've played him about 8 times, been slaughtered every time, just cant get a foot hold of the game at all. Out magiced, out manouvered and usually out manned too.
Cmac2786....I like your style! Seeing as the only 2 armies I play as are Dark Elves and Lizardmen, I was contemplating adding this to the Lizardmen forum too...but you got there first....watch your back....watch your back....:shifty:
The armies I hate facing would include Dwarves too, probably. Despite having never played against them before with my Lizardmen (only with my Dark Elves) I can tell I won't like their artillery....but that is why my JSoD and my Terradons are for.....Also, I have one bad experience against vampire counts, but usually don't have any problems with them....(That bad experience was a misjudged move, being charged by about 12 Black Knights (ouch..) and only losing combat by one with my unit of 20 Saurus! Of course, I auto-broke because of fear and bye-bye Saurus....).
PS: Keep watching Cmac2786...I'm watchin you....you just wait....just....wait.....

I just hate tomb kings chariots. Period
Tomb king chariots aren't really hard to deal with if you make sure to take korxies and/or a JSOD, they chomp through chariots.
As for armies I dislike playing, I haven't played that many cames but I got absolutely pwned by the brets. They were my biggest challenge as of yet.
They do indeed, but a good TK player is not just going to let u charge his chariots with a strength seven guy. I've played against tomb kings more than any other army and although i've seen some great moments where a group of kroxigor take out a unit of chariots, there have been many times where he has used them to win the day. Tomb kings are all about their chariots, so to say that you can deal with them by taking a unit of kroxigor/JSoD is a very sweeping generalisation methinksTomb king chariots aren't really hard to deal with if you make sure to take korxies and/or a JSOD, they chomp through chariots.
i don't like playing as lizardmen against Tomb kings either. Chariots are a pain in the proverbial indeed, but can be dealt with. Of course, a good TK will be able to minimise the effectiveness of the enemy's str 7 stuff, so it's not easy in that respect.
