I was considering running a southlands army for a change, but I had a question. In the army description in the back of the book, it says that the characters had the same options as in the standard army list. Does this mean that a saurus scar-vet can ride a cold one?
I wasn't sure about this since they have the horned ones in the southlands, but since it says you can have the same options I'd assume you could ride a regular cold one.
Any help is appreciated. ^_^
Yeah i guess you could. It says "unless stated otherwise" and it doesn't say anything about you not being able to.
It's a good point i've never really thought about it myself. The fearsome cold ones would probably be too big for a skink to control which is why they have to settle for the smaller horned one.
Kinda what I was thinking too. The horned ones are a little more docile, so they can be controlled by the skinks.
The "unless stated otherwise" is what I was working off of too. Thanks a lot!
it is quite wierd though, because in the southlands fluff (or is it in the Horned One fluff??), it sis that they do not have cold-ones in the southlands. but the rules for the scar-vet sais it can.. quite odd
if anyone helps you with an army list or rules/fluff , then give them some rep
Maybe the scar-vets come from Lustria originally and their cold ones are their own personal pets? Good point to make though(Y)
<chuckles> The scar-vets drive imports.
Hmm. Then I say I imported an Oldblood on Carnosaur from Lustria.
Anyway, the rules apparently don't prohibit it but it'd be damn unfluffy to use a cold one.
But then, you could always say it's a mutated Horned One, fit in size for a Scar-vet...
it could always be a more dangerous and stronger horned one
