what do u take more of vs chaos skinks sauros on calvolry or saurus i dont know what to take more help me please
"I am in need of some help. Against Chaos, what would be the better option - Skinks, Saurus, or Saurus on Cavalry? I'm at a loss as to what to take. Any assistance or tips are greatly appreciated."
That's what your post should have read like. Or something along those lines. We really want to help you out, krrf, but we demand a certain level of.... effort in people's posts. People are simply unwilling to take the time to respond to someone who can't be bothered to press the shift key, use punctuation or proper spelling, or uses netspeak.
Please, please try harder in the future. Thanks.
Each time i have played chaos kroxigors have been very useful. They can take saurus warriors armor, partailly the knights armor and best of all wreck their chariot with one hit! Definitely worth it, as they cause fear too, and charge 12". Saurus warriors as welll, obviously. They can fight anything
Large blocks of saurus warriors for combat resolution and pure combat savagery will do wonders against chaos warriors, knights AND marauders.
With their large amounts of attacks they are a danger to even knights as they simply cant kill enough to prevent them hitting back.
Add in a character (saurus) and you'll be fine.
In larger armies (2k+) if your considering a slaan then you should also consider the lore of metal as it has some really nasty, armour ignoring spells in it.
Also, dont forget your skinks with blowpipes!!! With their superior movement they will run rings around warriors and marauders especially making use of terrain. Also, their poisoned attacks have a chance to negate the wounding phase which is good against high toughness chaos scum.
Kroxigors are good if used carefully. just beware of large blocks of warriors in particular whose static combat res will be damaging, especially watch for the old exalted champion hiding in the unit with his great weapon or halberd etc,
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares, your a mile away and you have his shoes!!

Tbh it had to be said.
I didn't understand the post till i read the title, and whats wrong with typing teachers? xD
But yeh, krox would be potentially invaluable if used right.
Just do everything to gain combat res, meaning flank and rear charges, and don't let him get any himself. The advantage against chaos is their lack of shooting, so you can afford to be bold and stretch your battle line into open space. Make sure you get the charge off and you should cope well.
Most of this applies to most battles too.
To me, Combat Res. is what the entire game is about, so take it.
