Tau, Lizardmen and high elves arent Lord of the rings . I have to say though, I'm rather impressed with the changes made to LOTR it's alot more fulfilling to play now. Granted I have only played twice since the new rules were released but it certainly has something now that it has been lacking for a long time. Plus being able to take a whole army of heroes and just gut weak troops always works if your an elite army kind of player. Then ofcourse if you like playing things like IG you can go complete troops and see how many 6's you can roll each combat phase ^.^ . I really am enjoying the trade scheme though, got to say. I have some bretonnia to put up if they don't end up getting sold but I have someone enquiring about them already, also should have some empire up sometime later today or tomorrow.

LOL, actually, I'm not fond of War of the ring. If I want to play a game with massed units of fantasy models I'll play Fantasy. The reason I liked LOTRs is because, as a skirmish game, it's second to none. The small heroic fights and so forth added that little more personality that fantasy lacked. Making the whole thing a massed wargame made it like fantasy........just not as good.

I agree I am primarily a Warhammer fantasy player and the only reason I ever gave LOTR a second chance is because quite alot of the people in my local store play it and I had an Isengard army gathering dust from when I was a 15 year old fan boy. Oh the joys of youth, but yes if I pick up some IG I will let you know

Okay so the next great idea ! What I'm thinking is that inbetween orders I will basically purchase a unit, paint it up and sell it, sort of like doing a full army but with a quicker turn around so that I'm always keeping busy and putting new things out there for you guys. I'm thinking something like calling it unit of the week and dedicating myself to putting out a brand new unit every single week. I will put it up on my site and ebay for people to purchase them, the model costs will simply be using my commission prices + the cost of the models and postage. Ideas ? Please let me hear what you think ! Your input means everything to me

Here I am again just giving you guys a lovely little update about what I'm doing ! I am currently working on a commission for a LO member painting Chakax and a Slaan mage priest ( finecast ), I was given a colour scheme and I've been working on getting a nice blend for the skin tone and I think it's come out pretty nice, here it is :

I also decided to go that little bit further for my client by magnetising his slaan mage priest free of cost and green stuffing over the magnets so that it isnt visable, he can now be removed at will from his throne for whatever reason neccessary !

So I finished up this project, got some photo's of it in the light box and I'm really happy with it, It really was enjoyable mainly because I love lizardmen, the sculpts really are brilliant. But enough of that this is how it ended up! :

Slann Mage Priest - This model was magnetised and I then greenstuffed over the magnets and sculpted details back in to make the magnetisation un-noticable:
