Commision painting website updates and general outlines.

I have been working very hard this last week to fix up my website and my photograph quality. Both have took a huge leap in a very short period of time, this thread is simply just to let you all know what I am all about and what I am currently working on. So this week I splashed some money and fashioned a light box to increase my photo quality and also purchased adobe photoshop and lightroom. These have been essential to my photographs so that you can see what you will be buying, afterall that is the big thing, I want each and every customer to be happy.

So what am I doing now ? Well inbetween doing work I will be working on updating the site as often as I possibly can with new miniature pictures, offers and new terrain. Right now I am working on painting an example piece from each army to show I am capable of painting any army ! please feel free to take a look at my website at TrollsMon Painting or email me at trollsmonpainting@gmail.com .Any queries, criticisms or just general chatter are welcome, afterall its nice to know the people who I am working for and vice versa.

Thankyou for reading, hope to hear from you in future!

So an update on what I am doing, I am currently working on a Bretonnia commission for a local client consisting of 3 pegasus knights, 24 knights and 3 characters. I have also gave him some free bowmen for using my service, painted for free ofcourse !

I have put my prices down, the prices are currently not really worth it in a financial sense but as far as building loyalty and a client base it is great and I feel that is much more important than anything else is.

I am just going to use this thread to keep updates on how my site and general business is going, sort of like a blog if you will.

Thankyou for taking the time to read anyway, hope to hear from some of you guys in the future, that would be a dream come true !

So I picked my comission project up today ! Some nice things to do, including a nice converted damsel. Managed to get a test fig done to show the client today as he asked me to make him a colour scheme. He's a happy guy with it so this is how the whole army will look !
Not sure why but posting onto librarium seems to dull my images down alot, if anyone knows why please let me know !

Very interested. Unfortunately shipping USA to UK and vice versa would be very expensive.

So today I completed a pegasus tester model, the base still needs finishing but I have left it for now as I'm going to magnetise the pegasus to the flying base for storage and stability on the table top. But yeah here the guy is ! Client LOVES it ! exactly what he wanted so Im a happy guy !!

I may actually end up using your services when the time comes, regardless of shipping cost, because your prices are awesome.

Thankyou I do try to keep it down as I am trying to make a name for myself plus I get alot of enjoyment out of it aswell ! Can't wait to hear from you, Just e-mail me at trollsmonpainting@gmail.com with as much detail as you can in regards to your order ( If assembly is needed, if you want magnetic bases, pieces magnetising, colour schemes etc ) when the time comes and I can give you a quote Note that if you are wanting to do your own assembly you can leave things such as bolters seperate from space marine bodies and I will attatch these for free as it makes painting easier.

Brainstorming an idea for my commission site, what I am thinking is using a trade in option for payment aswell as cash. My basic thoughts on this are somewhere around the lines of the client offering up some trade in miniatures that I can use in other projects and in return depending on the models/ condition a trade in price will be given, and that amount can be deducted off the commission costs, what do you think ? There will be a few creases to iron out but I think it would be quite a nice little scheme aslong as there are no issues dealing with the claimed model condition differing from the actual condition.
