WHFB Tournament - Ashburn, Virginia - March 3rd, 2012

The NEC gaming group here in the Northern VA area is holding a WHFB tournament at Huzzah Hobbies in Ashburn, VA on March 3rd.

The army size is 1800pts and there will be three rounds with points for winning, losing or drawing.
There is a $10 entry fee which includes lunch and placement prizes.

Army Size - Army must be 1800pts and must conform to the standard 8th Edition Warhammer BRB rules.

Tournament Rules –

Choose Your Spells Wisely!
You may choose your spells rather than rolling for them. Consequently, you must have your spell choices listed on your army sheet by the turn-in date.

A Time For New Champions!
Leave your named characters at home; this is an opportunity for new champions to arise.
(This means you too Grimgor and Teclis.)

The Fine Print:

Game Play
Three rounds of tournament play. Each player will be scored 5pts for a win, 3pt for a draw, and 1pt for a loss.

Copies of Army Roster
1 copy must be turned in to the NEC email address below no later than Wednesday, February 29th.

3 copies must be hand carried to the event. A copy will be distributed to your opponent prior to each round.

Non-GW Models
Non-GW models may be used as proxies so long as the base size is correct for the model type and it clearly represents its intended replecment.

Painting requirements
As this tournament is a friendly competition, you do not need to have a fully painted army, but you do need an assembled army.

Lunch
A pizza lunch will be provided. If there are any dietary restrictions, please let us know.
