I like the maggoty look of the first one. The effects with the standard and the sarchophagus are good. However I am not sure how the Dreadnought got up there with it's stubby legs or how it plans to get down. ![]() The second one looks like it has three giant infected boobs growing out of it. A very good effect though, they look ripe, pussy and ready to be popped. I think people like doing Nurgle Dreads and what-not as Nurgle forgives mistakes. Other models need a certain level of cleanliness and precision, synmetry etc to work properly. Nurgle on the other hand actually benefits from mutated grossness.8X |

I think you're right as to why people do Nurgle dreads. They are indeed forgiving. However, at the same time, they provide a certain biomorphic creativity that is altogether absent in dreadnought; and this, too, likely attracts people to Nurgle (it certainly did me). All nice finds bunnyman. I think though, my favorite water(ice) effect used of all time is in this mini: http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...CMON-Ulrik.jpg I hope one day I can do effects like that. It looks so damn REAL! CMON page: http://www.coolminiornot.com/158395

The model looks dark but not in an obvious "look at me I'm wearing loads of black" way. The effect is more subtle and makes the model look like they are in a dark enviroment such as a sewer or other such place where one finds masonary and grossly coloured sludge like that. The second one looks less like a model with water base effects but a base with water that happens to have a model on it. I think this one is technically good but the water looks a little too static and as such sort of like clear or translucent slime. It would seem as far a putting water on bases is concerned that there are a fair number of scantily clad women out there in rather chilly looking places, probably freezing off thier, well I don't really know, whatever girls freeze off in the cold. |

I've been considering making a Rhino or Chimera walker for a while now, and the one in your pic got me going on the theme again. Hmmm.. not to sure about the tracked legs though. The speeders are great looking, and as far as I can tell fairly simple conversions. I wonder if it's not GreyDeath's (on WIP) army. I could be wrong though... Once again though, thanks for a load of lovely pics. Don't know what I'd do without you
