I dunno, this one screams "texas" y'know... because the stereotypical texas land-yacht has a skull with some form of horns on its front bumper.

I can attest to this, Yak; and it's usually longhorn cattle horns.

Dear All Concerned,

This is a post about old material in this thread, but those custodians, something has to be taken in mind:

When I did my custodian project, I looked for examples online and found out that the vast majority of the custodians shown in this thread were sculpted with laser guided designers/molder sets.....

This thread is great by the way, i always like to check in and see some cool stuff.....

This discussion came up a while back in the conversion forum, I believe. Some people disapproved of any type of molding that was not specifically done with hand tools, while others did not care about the process, so long as the result looked good. Overall, the Conversions of the Day thread, while always permissive towards debates on the nature of modeling, focuses more on the finished conversion product, rather than the methods of its accomplishment.

However, yourtimehascome, if you're interested, I'd be more than happy for you to provide information for or against laser guided techniques and molder sets. ;Y

If you are referring to the work of Scibor, he does not, infact, always use moulding machines (aside from his own hands).

There is a rather nice article on his website (*HERE*) which explains his techniques.

Very helpful link, Mr. T.

Do you suppose I'd look for Super Sculpey at an artist supply store?

Dear All Concerned,

Although I think modelling by hand proves more skill, (IMHO) believe it is just as difficult to learn to program and design these things virtually, so I think it all depends.....
