Awesome, looks to be a good start there. It looks like its going to be huge! I love your use of the CoD building tiles as armor for the treads. What do you plan on using for the treads? With a baneblade, a Lord of Khorne, and a Tower of Nurgle, you really seem to be gearing up for Apocolypse. Theres going to be some crazy mega-battles going on with your conversions and scratch-builds on the tables! Keep on keepin on, I want more pics soon!

They have tank treads in all sizes...As for the turret, get two ribbed pipes from a hardware store, and have something flat go down the middle. It should bridge nicely. As for Cardboard, you seriously might want to look into getting some plasticard. MUCH more sturdier, looks smoother, and is amazing for adding little nit picky little tank things...

You are crazy. I thought I was, but you make me seem like Mr. Mentalhealth. For this I thank you ![]() I really like your use of the COD-tiles, it makes the tank look really archane and impressive. A couple of things I'd like to point at though, first is the turret. I think it should be a fair bit wider, it should reach half the tracks in width. And then it's the front. One of the characteristic-look-things with the Stormblade in the pic is how the front goes in quite a bit, and how the tracks start descending a fair bit from the edge. You could of course make a different pattern Stormblade and just say "Ha!" but if you want it to look like the FW-one I think you should make some adjustments. Other than that...Impressive mr "my life was stolen by midgets", impressive. *looks at WIP Exterminator and sighs* ...size doesn't matter, or so they say... *sigh* Last edited by Andusciassus; August 11th, 2007 at 23:23. |

I really think you should invest in some plasticard, its not too expensive and the different thicknesses it comes it will be a great help in building up the armor plates on the side. I Card board is too flimsy and weak IMO. When building my thunderhawk I found plasticard to be indespensible and it is a lot easier to bond plastic gw bits to plasticard than card bpard. Good look! I will be watching with interest.
