I figured that I would share this for those that may have missed it in my Chaos Marine project log. Because all space marines could use some shooters aiming their bolters! ![]() Here's a how to for making Marines who look like they are aiming before they shoot. I was shocked how easy this was, which is why I thought I'd share the idea. I started with the arms that hold the bolter at an upward angle. (high port is the military term IIRC) I cut off both hands at the wrists ![]() Then I drilled holes on the wrists and hands for pinning. Then I used some Hobbytac (basically thick sticky PVA) to hold the arms in place while I positioned the hands. I did the right hand fist, so I had the leveled position for the bolter in the right position before moving on to the left hand. ![]() ![]() This is what the model looks like with a bolter set in position, before the green stuffing of the wrists. ![]() ![]() Here is the green stuffed wrists. for the right hand I made it look like the soft armor of the hip and knee joints. For the left I just filled it in. ![]() This is the completed Marine ready to be primed. I decided to give a nod to the days of Rogue Trader by adding the combat accessory to the bolter; I may do a few more on the other squad members. ![]() ![]() I think it turned out pretty nice and it was really easy.

A very nice tutorial Megalodon... I am looking forward on trying that on some of my Marines too... Loyalists though!

Meg, next, you should set your mind to working on a tutorial for converting stationary legs into running legs. I think there's a real market for this kind of tutorial. Well done, btw. I've saved a few of the images into my database for later use, if you don't mind  .

i believe that with a little cutting shavin and green stuffing just like as with the wrists a running marine could be made...ive done it b4 even without pinning...but i was novice at the time

I have made it and it was more easier what I did in respect to Megalodon... Just found that if you cut where the hand is joining the torso and some minor GS it is easier!
