My First Conversion Project

@Tekore, of course you can go pre-heresy, I mean they were...errhh...hmmm... they like had... Already back then they were pretty cool. They did gain an advantage or two during and after the Heresy though. I'm talking conversionwise of course.
I'll not even care to mention how much cooler the bad guys are in general...

Andu, you should switch to Word Bearers, what with this interest in converting others into the Chaotic Fold! I think what I'm looking at, much like Archno, is to convert my current SM army into a current Night Lords army, using the SM Codex, fighting alone, and using stealth and lots of assault troops. I like the Zso Sahaal Night Lords, neither Imperial nor Chaos, fighting for their own purposes and their own primarch. I think it has a lot of potential in fluff, modeling, and on the table. My next big conversion projects (so many projects in queue!) will most likely be Sahaal himself, using Shrike's top half and the bottom from a kneeling SM Dev. Marine, along with some chaos bits like skulls and such, emphasizing the horrifying visage of the Night Lords without binging into the chaotic. I'm really looking forward to it!

OK, NightLords, I just might have to forgive you
They are awesome, it was not until quite resently I read their fluff and their story is a dark one indeed. Though I (being biased admitingly) still think they do some really cool things when they build houses out of still living people and such... but I guess that's just me.
