Marine Commander

I'd like to make a DA company master with a jump pack, lightning claw pair and a combi flamer, but I'm having some problems of where to put the gun. Lightning claws aren't exactly great for holding a gun, and the combi weapon is too big to stick it on the belt/ in a holster.
Does anyone have suggestions where it can go?

First of you cant have combi weapon and a pair of lightning claws but you can have a pistol instead of the combi weapon
(no idea how you would use it but anyway)
so that sorta kills the point of this question

Dark Angels: key word here

For whatever reason, they can have more than 2 weapons, even if they're two handed. If I wanted to, the master could have a plasma pistol, lightning claw pair, and a storm bolter/combi weapon at the same time.

Another example:
Chaplain with pistol, crozius, and combi weapon

The new chaos codex supports this. A chaos marine carries a bolter, pistol, and combat weapon.
*just checked their codex, and blood angels can take more than 2 weapons too*

Also the lightning claw entry in the DA armory mentions nothing about the user not being able to use other weapons if they have a pair of claws.

Well since pickle has failed answered the origional question, I shall jump in and steal the rep from him (if qsd finds the help useful).

For this conversion you might want to take a look at the UMs Calgar. As much as I hate the cheeky b-word it can give you inspiration. Have 2 lightning claws with the combi-weapon underslung. For example: Have the bolter under his right hand, and a flamer under his left hand. This can be easily done by finding plastic bolters/Bpistols and flamers, cutting off the handles and slapping some glue here and there.

For a more complex version of this, you could cut off the pinkey claw from each hand and put the 2 weapon muzzles in their place. The coolest looking twin LC model I can find from GW is THIS. You will need to file off all the silly BT crosses, but the robes and swankey helmet could look DAish.

Yeah, the whole more than two weapons thing...blows my mind in it greatness. Possibly each claw in the lightning claw is really a combi-flamer plasma cannon that shoots nothing but exploding power swords.

Right, I forgot all about Calgar! The combi flamer I had lying around must have distracted me.
I like that BT model, though it may be tough trying to stick a gun under the left arm...

As he is Dark Angels you could take a slightly different slant on this if you wanted. The Watchers in the Dark are a perfect way to transport additional character stuff. More commonly used for Librarians, but I see no reason why you cannot use it as a carry-boy for your commanders weaponry. The main problem with this idea is that, unless you give the watcher wings, he might look a little odd being able to keep up with a jump-packed character.

A similar alternative could be two armed servo skulls. I've seen one with a flamer-like appendage (from FW I think) and another with a bolt pitol - not exactly WYSIWYG but close enough IMO to count as - you could attach them to the commanders base and have them scoot around with him.

I still think the previous suggestions of attaching the weaponry to the lightning claws is the best, but there are two more ideas if you're interested.

Yeah, underslung weapons strikes me as a good idea as well. You could convert them so they are integrated in the claws, but not neceserily underslung. I'm thinking that they could br on the 'top' side of the claws. Kind of hard to explain, and I can't really think of any pictures to show my idea so I hope you understand my insane rambling.

Don't forget there is a metal SM veteran model with twin lightning claws. All the same glorious sculpting without all the pesky Black Templar symbols to remove...
