Default Plastic Abaddon
So for Apocalypse I wanted to take a Masters of the Chapter, but for chaos. Seeing as I needed a chaos versions of a chapter master I decided on Abaddon. As you all know the current Abaddon model is too small to fit in with the new plastic terminators so i decided to build one from scratch using the plastic chaos lord as a basis for my conversion. Note that the model i am working on is fully assembled st the moment but I haven't got around to taking pictures of it yet, so please bear with this unfinished pic at the moment.

Wow, this is really cool. I would have never of thought someone would want to re-do a special character to look like the special character. But I guess this one makes sense.

A really great job, it looks a lot like the metal model. One thing though: You are going to remove those ugly mold lines, right? It'd be a shame if you didn't.

Oh, and what did you use for the tubing on his chest?

I'ld have gone for the talon of Horus from the Abaddon model; it is just that much better. The old head, or at least top knot would be more imposing too.
I can see that the tubing on the bottom goes into those ports; is this true of the collar tubes? It would be a shame if they ended abruptly.

The hold metal parts don't exactly match up with the new plastics, as they are slightly smaller. I thought about using the head but its more trouble than what its worth.

I still need to finish green stuffing the upper sets, and play around with the back of the bolters.

The guitar wire is a right pain to bend smoothly (a long curve instead of an abrupt corner) without marking it with pliers, how did you do such a good job?

Shame about the dark angels head on the trophy rack, I was kinda expecting a weedy Black Templar on there!
