Stilts will be for when I get around to making a cybork mob.

I took yesterday off to get some gaming in, but I'm back and working on this for now.

You may remember in my previous sketches I drew boarding ramps on the side of the Baneblade. Before I can fix the tracks into place, I'm going to need to add those, as they require that I cut a number of square hatches into the side of the tank and build doors behind it. These doors will be covered by the ramps when they're up.

I just started roughing out the general design and I thought I might ask you guys about placement. It's hard to get them just the right height!





I think I'm going to put a pair of these on either side, in addition to the rear ramp in the back - Skullhammas hold a ton of boyz, so I may as well make it possible for them to get on and off in a hurry.

I'll rivet the thing up and add some orky decoration to it shortly.

I think those pretty cool! I think they are at a good height, to high and the Orks will not just fit and it will look silly.

I tried lengthening the ramp to make it look a bit more comfortable. This is the lowest I can attach it to the tank right now - does the angle look okay? I might cut the door a bit taller, as well, since the longer ramp can cover it when it's up.



I can't photograph it in the up position right now - before that, I have to dremel off the hinges and stuff that gets in the way, but I'd like to hear some feedback before I get to doing that on how the general ramp design looks, aside from the fact that realistically it would block the tracks from working properly.

Hm could we see a photo from a "head-on" angle? Kinda hard to see how steep the ramp is now when it is lowered.
