Yep. If anyone interested just give him money for material costs and p&p... No profit made...

Emu's aren't lame. You're thinking of Ostriches.

I'm still not crazy about the Struthid/Chocobo idea, but I'm glad you're pimping it DT. The PC could always use fresh talent and customers.

now, under normal circumstances I think rough riders are silly. But your prehistoric terror bird/ moa mount has me thinking twice

You've captured my interest. What is the green sculpting material are you using for the basic body and the grey material for the detail work? Really fine work. Thanks for sharing.

Update 4/13/08

Tah-Dah! Sculpting is complete, and the originals are off for casting. I think the final product looks stunning. I want to thank everyone who was supportive of this project.

Here's all the parts and such. Notice the wicked claws on the moa's feet.
The neck has a joint at each end, so there will be lots of different poses you can put the moa in when you assemble them.

The beauty of the design is that the rider can be completed with just about any 28mm scale torso and head, so no matter what you play, the riders will fit in with the rest of the army. Here, the model has been completed with some regular IG plastics, but obviously those are not included. Notice that the left arm is holding the reigns.

And for those club members who are just getting the riders so they can put them on horses, you can see that the legs also fit very well on a regular steed.
