I found my plans and three projection drawings. Follow the directions for printing out full sized patterns.

This is shaping out quite nicely, good luck on this project!

Once I managed to draft a Full scale four projection drawing I knew I just had to finish this project; but already I was having reservations about the main gun. The plasma cannon on the Stormblade had caught my eye and as Tsele so aptly pointed out the original cannon was too big. I began making alterations in the plastic hull to accommodate this fearsome weapon.

Because the superstructure was longer than the Forgeworld genera I had to elongate the engine compartment for esthetics if nothing else. I was beginning to see why the Forgeworld designers made their supertruture so boxy. Re-designing the basic Baneblade hull wouldn't be cost effective. As I was just going for a one shot deal I had the latitude to make lavish changes which gave a more streamline and futuristic profile to the upper hull.

Streamlining being very important for a vehicle that moves at the dizzying pace of 10kph.

Mr Silva modeled his Hunter on the Mars pattern supertank. I feel the lack on secondary armor plates gives far too sleek an appearance to this lumbering beast so I patterned mine after the Lucius Baneblade. I also like the archaic quad exhaust pipes. My Baneblade 'Arethusa' is the pride of my son's army and I used the treads and bogies, exhaust pipe assemblies to make castings for the tracks of this vehicle. when I finish this article I hope to demonstrate what can be done to refurbish pitifully trashed models you find on ebay.

I've bought 5 such models over the years, my limit being 100 dollars I get a lot of misses but my total includes 1 Lucius (my favorite and my first), 1 Mars Baneblade, 2 Shadowswords, and a Stormblade that was a new kit but must have been exposed to heat as the parts and especially the hull was warped almost beyond repair.

I think this is very interesting. The look of your tank so far is good. I think that because it differs from Forge world's tanks you have made it more original. I do like how you have cooked up design blueprints for it. They are helpful in trying to see what you want it to become. You said that the plasma cannon big zapper (or whatever it's called) would have trouble fitting on your tank. You could try to make your own gun, design it from scratch I mean. You could then have it as a 'counts as'.

You know you keep modelling fast on the Titan Hunter... can you show a glimpse of the sketch for us to get a rough idea... even I think I have one...

And if you have second thoughts for the cannon try the tank models, the static ones, for ideas... some of them have very nice barrels! ;Y

Thundertank vib? I'm not quite sure what to make of that. Is there another Forge World Super Heavy tank I'm unaware of?

You will of course see it finished as I just took some pictures of it today. I hope my choice of color or lack thereof doesn't put people off. As I stated in my obligatory introduction, I'm rather partial to an all gray matte finish rather like a battleship. These tanks are as big as the average home. in fact if I parked a Baneblade next to my house it would hide the entire house except for the peak of the roof. How or why would you camoflage such a vehicle? No I think weathered dirty gray is the ideal color. I've dubbed the armor group 'Steel Legion' because of the color totally unaware that there was an army so designated.

Anyhow due to the speculation and concern expressed about my choice of artillery I though I'd give you a glimpse of my version of the plasma cannon. As I didn't have a scale model to go by at that time it's a little less massive that the forgeworld version and some of the frontal detail was too delicate to effectively render in my resin but the overall effect is satisfactory at least to me rendered in the afore mentioned grey.
