Default Athonian Tunnel Rats?

They're in the new rulebook, and they look really cool. Has anyone seen any conversions for them yet, or considered how to go about doing it? Are there likely to be models for them in the IG update?

Well they're sewer rats, so you can be very liberal in how you model them.

You could take some catachan and convert them so they look like they are crawling around tunnels, or you could go as far as modeling cadians with a bunch of shovels and stuff, that would work too!

Just my ideas.

I wouldn't say you can model them however you want, there's a picture of them... they clearly have gas masks, goggles, pickelhaubes, double-barreled lasguns, cloaks, and scrolls pinned to them. I don't really see where Catachans could come in there...

I personally would just modify death korp models...though that may end up being a bit pricey.

Where does it say they have to look like the one in the rule book? I must have missed that line.
Those were just my ideas of two cheaper and easier methods then say, converting Krieg models.

I know its really off beat but for shits and giggles I would(and just might now) take some skaven models and flush them out with IG bits and such and have a squad or two of those guys on the table. It will turn some heads or your money back

The OP says that I really liked how the ones in the book look, so I thought you knew that's what I was going for. I appreciate your suggestions but I was talking about making some that look like that picture.

Alas, I should have been clearer in my first post that I was giving you suggestions for cheaper ways.
