Sure do. Best way is to scratch flesh with the hobby knife. Then, you paint your guy like you would normaly, then the wound is painted with very dark red on the inside, normal red on the outside where the blood drips, black around the edge (powder burns) and some (very) little white dots on the black (roasted flesh actually does do that). For vehicles, scratch and paint metal in the scratches, with black on the inside edges. All this takes practice.
