Oh Spammie, if only I had some pics to put up.

Right now I'm doing a Space Wolf army run as Deathwing. Been doing just what you've asked, making every Termi different. I've been using a mix of plasticard, GS and extra plastic parts from different kits.

Are you doing an entire Termi army or just a squad or two? If its just a squad then its not too hard, the easiest way is to reposition arms, use heads from different kits (i've been using Marauder horsemen heads for my wolves), adding tabards/loincloths, switching the weapons into opposite hands, and like I said before getting parts from kits like the plastic commander (icons, ironhalos, ect) and adding them to the models.

Alot of it depends on what kind of look your going for too. If your trying for a very austere/strict look then not too much adornment, stick to just repositioning. Whereas if your tring for a Deathwing look or say an Ultramarines Honourguard then lay on the icons, pendants, purity seals.

all this is even before painting. When I was doing Templars I gave each Termi personal heraldry, script in different places on the armour and the like.

Over the weekend I'll get some pics of my Wolves and post em here for you to see. They might inspire you and I could do with feedback to see how I'm going.

Hope I helped and didnt ramble too much

In that case, go robes. Get the Templar chests and use the tabbards from them, then GS the chest robes and a hood if you want. Got for lots of sword, shield, feather and wing motifs.

You might want to bulk out/change chest, leg or shoulder armor with plasticard. Dread greaves make good termi pads, and the assault termi crotch plates make good knee pads if you turn them upside down.

If your doing thunder hammer guys, may want to give them each a different weapon or atleast hammer head. Maybe go for a mace (skavan plaguemonks have grail flails for that) or change the hammer head to a skull or something.

If you want to go all out, do up each guy as if he were a character: personal heraldry, names plates, personal icons on backs, personalised wargear.

Once again, as soon as I get some pics taken I'll put em up and you can see what I'm doing

Thanks Monkey. I'll try loads of different leg positions as well.

Having never played (or even seen played) Fable I really dont know what the mask looks like, sorry. If you could get a pic of it and show me then I could help. Tried a Google search and nothing helpful turnd up (well, duh)

If your going for a masquerade type mask tho, you could try GS modles of the harlequins or the ones off the Masgue of Slaanesh model. Like I said without knowing what its ment to look like I cant help much.

No matter what you do tho I think GS will be your best option

I have a question. I want to give a Carnifex lots of insecty, buggy legs. I don't want to use it's normal legs, scything talons or crusing claws to make the legs as these things are needed elsewhere. What would you suggest I use?

Insecty bitz for a Carifex... hmmm

Well you've pretty much ruled out all the things I woyld suggest first off. May involve getting a 2nd Fex and looting the scything talons off the poor thing. Same could be done with a few Warriors too I guess. Theres nothing really else big and buggy in the GW range. Could try Shelod from LotR but I think she'd be too small. Or theres the mail-order only Goblin shaman on uber-huge spider.

I've seen a great scratch build Hirophant Bio Titan blog on the net somewhere tho damnd if I could tell you the site. He basically got a heap of smaller Nid limbs and stuck them together then filled and proportioned it out with GS. Do a Google image search for plastic Hirophant or all plastic bio titan and it may turn up.

Its hard to describe what this guy did, but if you can find it it should give you enough ideas to fix up your Fex.

Sorry I couldnt be of more help

AHA! Found it. This should be the right link to get you to the Titan page: http://images.google.com.au/imgres?i...N%26start%3D20

Thank you Unquisitor for the pic

Creepy looking guy isn't he (the Jack, not Unquisitor, tho I really don't know). Right, so, its basically a skull-ish masquerade mask in a red hood.

Forgotten Saviour, try the WHFB Chaos Warrior champion helmet (the skull one) or even the skull helmets off chaos marines the GS hods over them as desired.

Ofcourse if you can't get the 40+ helmets needed for an average marine army then its back to just GS. Get a GS lump and flatten it out over the marine face so it looks like a knight's visor. Smooth it out and shape it to how you want then do two slits for the eyes. You may then want to leave it or you can do little grooves for the teeth and nasal cavity.

Could take a bit of practive to do this, would suggest even using the normal WHFB chaos warrior helmets as the base because they samller and so won't look too large with an extra face plate. The hood will help hide the lack of ear-boxes the marine helmets have and again make it look large enough to fit on a marine body.

Could try the same visor effect with thin plasticard but its not as easy to shape and do eyes, mouth ect in.

Was on the right track with what you wanted?
