Default rhino conversion help needed

hello all, i am looking for a way to attatch the side doors of the rhine on a hinge so they can be lowered much like a land raider front ramp, but as the sides are a solid block i cant put a pin in, any advice would be appreciated

This has got to be the tutorial about hinging rhino doors that I have ever seen

that is a really good link cheers for that, rep for you, do u by any chance know the tool used to twist the wire for the hinges ?

What he used to twist the wire is a dremel, you could also uses a drill, cordless would be better as you have better speed control on DC power tools.

thank you for this help, ill post pictures when i get this done, a final question any idea what diameter the pinning rod is ?

That guide is awesome, I did this thing some months ago. You do need some patience, and some extra doors as well (plastic tends to get too thin sometimes )

The main thing you have to remember is that you better paint the door and the doorway before you start the job. Or, if it is impossible, do not use any spraycan basecoat (do not know how to say this correctly in English - something of this kind) near the hinges. If you paint them afterwards, twist them carefully as the paint dries, to make sure it doesn't for a solid surface and lock the hinge - if it does, it will be very difficult to break it before you break the door plastic. Had this problem myself, it spoiled all the work
