Default problems with putty...

So i am using the 2 part epoxy putty, starting out fairly tamly just filling in gaps and replaceing damaged areas of models.

So when i use the putty its really sticky, i mean well duh its supposed to be sticky, but how does one keep the stuff from sticking to your sculpting tools? can you use a light coat of oil on the tools or maybe liquid soap perhaps? I dunno, but then thats why i am asking.

I keep a small cup of warm water near when I'm using green stuff or it's like. I dip my finger tips in to help keep them from sticking.
Hope that helps.

Spitting on your fingers works or you could try baby oil

You don't, not with metal components. You gotta pin those anyway. Green stuff won't hold metal if you don't use another bond too.
