So i am using the 2 part epoxy putty, starting out fairly tamly just filling in gaps and replaceing damaged areas of models. So when i use the putty its really sticky, i mean well duh its supposed to be sticky, but how does one keep the stuff from sticking to your sculpting tools? can you use a light coat of oil on the tools or maybe liquid soap perhaps? I dunno, but then thats why i am asking. |

You don't, not with metal components. You gotta pin those anyway. Green stuff won't hold metal if you don't use another bond too.
