    Disconnecting Bonds

Just wondering...is there a way to safely remove the super glue bond from either metal to metal or plastic to plastic? I have some models that I have inherited that need to be changed due to WYSIWYG standards. I have tried removing the arms from a few models only to have them break off at the arm joint. While I can work with this with alot of cutting and sandpapering of the new arm, I would rather just have a way to replace the whole arm as is.

Even though super glue is the strongest glue out there, there still should be a solvent of sorts that helps remove it. I mean people have to have stuck something together before that they didnt want stuck together right?

Metal to Metal, brute force usually does the trick, if not, nail varnish remover is good at loosening superglue but will aslo strip off paint. (only use nail varnish remover on metal, as it will dissolve plastic!)

plastic to plastic is a bit more difficult. If you used superglue then brute force and luck should be your best bet. If you used polycement then just cut down the join with a craft knife.

Putting it in the freezer to make it more brittle should help.

The other 2% are smart enough to question the 'science' behind that number...
    And it's spelled EMPEROR!
