Hello, I've been searching some bits sites for those old open-handed plastic power fists and have been unable to find any. Anyone know a good place for them? I need quite a few to have PF DC on hand. Thanks.

I've found a heap of power fists, both old and new ones, on ebay!!! heaps of the open hand space wolves ones as well, just take the emblem off it and you're sweet!

Well, there's an old SM close combat weapon sprue that contains 1 open Power Fist (an entire arm actually), 1 Power Axe, 1 Power Sword, 1 Chainswoed, 1 Laspistol, 1 Autopistol, 1 Hand-flamer and 1 Plasma Pistol.

It's from 2nd edition but is a fatastic sprue.

The sprue Camel is referring to can be found here. It has loads of good bits on it but more importantly the power fist you are looking for is there.

If you want a bit of variation, then a open-hand power fist can be found here. It is part of the Space Marine Command Squad Sprue, but a very similar power fist can be found on the Space Wolves Accessory Sprue.

If you want some other open-hand power fists then you could get some metal ones like these:

If you cannot get any of the above from your online store then just ring up GW, quote the product number and see if they have any in stock. Hope this helps mate.

That assorted weapon sprue was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I completely forgot it came on that thing

. I could even use the plasma pistols and other CCWs as well, so great find. Thanks everyone!

man, that sprue is sweet, why dont they make one like that with the newer weapons, the flamer and bolter look old, and that wouldnt fit with the new models

Yeah it's awsome, but there are ways to use it still.
Old bolter = Veterans, HQs etc.
Hand-flamer= take one in each ahnd and 'count as' a single flamer
Laspistol/Autopistol = Give to Guard.

Yeah, I think that las pistol might make it onto the Rough Riders I want to try building. Also, the Autopistol is great for mutants/traitors/PDF you might want to model, so cool stuff there. Maybe I'll make some medical personnel for COD strategems and give them the extra autopistols to defend themselves

I got a few of those CCW sprues with some old minis I bought on clearance (a vet sergeant w/bionic arm and a techmarine I'm gonna chop up and make into a vehicle crewman) and they're awesome.

the old-style boltpistol and plasma pistol can add some nice variety, too, and the flamer pistol is great for conversions.
