Personally I don't like the paper banner very much.
If you mold a thick heavy banner from green stuff you can make it pretty cool, as if its bending, moving in the wind

speaking of banners, I painted up one for my chaos dreddie last night. it has a dead guardian splayed accross the top of it.

try making a prayer scroll out of cotton paper, (brown paint around rough edges) and write scribbly lines on it. Pin it so its hangin off the power fist arm. This also can be done using miliput. you can also create a garp, kinda like a cape, that hangs from the sarcophaci in the front.
