Looking Good, you should be able to take on pretty much everyone with only minor trouble. I'd love to see how they'd fare in a zombie campaign.

Agreed.. It's looking pretty strong. Could do with more gangers, I think, but the Juves will level pretty fast and will be able to help out with territory within a few games. First priority with your hard earned credits, I'd say, would be to get a couple more Juves, as if the terrain doesn't go your way you could have some problems against the oh-so-boring heavy stubber n' lasgun gangs. A few spineless meatshields are essential to any house gang really.

After that, you can focus on things like sidearms if you find you're needing them.. Keep a few credits open in case you get special grenades too.. They can be extremely useful (smoke grenades in particular) for close ranged gangs like yours. Even a plasma grenade can be used to block line of sight, though you have to be very careful with that tactic, as I discovered in one highly amusing but very unfortunate episode..

My plan was to buy as many guys as a could right off the bat, its good to know that others agree with that.

I really want to get some smoke grenades and try to block fire lanes to counter my shorter range. Overall I am pretty psyched as my list looks like it could be lots of fun.

What makes a zombie campaign different?

Well it all depends on what rules you decide to use but in the Zombie themed campaign i played there were 20 respawning zombies closing in on a single defended positions and I needed to hold out 16 turns. Needless to say ammo started to run dry and people started to get eaten, it wasn't pretty.

Also, Mantis, I really want to hear that plasma grenade story as it sounds, entertaining, to say the least.

It was my first gang (Escher) and I really wanted some smoke grenades.. I got plasma though, and very smugly figured I could use them for the same purpose if I was careful. I was playing against Xerxes, whose Delaque gang was turning very shooty indeed, so with a very self satisfied smile and a look of 'what are you doing' from my opponent, I dropped a plasma grenade to cover the area between two buildings so that my gang could advance in cover.

Oh, it blocked line of sight.. It also drifted through a wall and roasted 3 of my gang members who were standing on the other side. Cue maniacal laughter and a very badly lost game.

I still maintain it would have worked though.. It was just bad luck.

Well just played a game against my friend's Van Saar army, and won! I got the first round of shooting on him and with the grenades/manstopper rounds I sent 1 out of action, 2 down, 2 pinned, and made his heavy flee. After that he was left with only 5 of his 11 gangers able to shoot back, and he voluntarily bottled out. Not too shabby I think. To top it off two gangers and a juve leveled up.
