Bornindarkness, i would recomend starting necromuda!! Cheack out gamesworkshops Specialist Games Site: Link to Necromunda Resources! I think it tells you when the new rulebook comes out. one of the best things about necromunda is that it is faily cheap to play. I got my Gang for 29 pounds and i will never need to get any more. (appart from the odd weapon, but they can come out of my spare 40k bits) Go for an Escher gang!!! |

Online... Doesn't that defat the purpose of a "tabletop" wargame? Necro is far better played F2F than over the Internet. And in all of my online gaming experiences, rampant cheating was the order of the day. It always seemed there was some Low Self-Esteem 10 year old on the other end who thought winning was evertyhing and that cheating is cool...

Necromunda is the best game GW makes, the weapons and background of 40K with small squads that you grow attached to and create a story as you play, a lil bit of RPing with your wargaming. Not to mention it does not cost much to play, you need anywhere from 3-15 models tops, compared to 40K or WFB which requires tons of minis.... Gorka Morka is almost the same game as Necro, just with Orks as the "gangs" they include vehicles in Gorka Morka which makes for a different game, and lots of collisions. Most of the games of Gorka Morka I played were basically demolition derbies... But becareful Necromunda can become very addictive... Try it I'm sure you'll like it...

I have heard of necromunda since I started playing GW games. I have never played it myself, but I have considered it. I just simply love the minis, they look just great... |

Well it's been a while scince I've been on these boards but I'm back! The only problem I have with people using other models as necromunda figures is it becomes too easy to give your guys all kinds of powerfull equipment.
