If you use the Necromunda rules on the GW website you'll find that the gangs now have different gear lists to pick from, so it means it's not just the skill you need to consider while picking a gang.

That aside, Techno is easily the best thanks to Medic and Inventor. My second favourite is Agility, just for the opportunity to get Sprint and Leap.

    I don't think I've EVER taken a Ferocity skill.

Yeah, wheres the stealth skill tree??

Its kinda neat to infiltrate 1 or 2 guys near your opponent and then sit there in overwatch for his first turn

I picked shooting in its place as i really like the gun fighter trait.

WE WANT STEALTH WE WANT STEALTH WE WANT STEALTH

But in all seriousness as my favorite gang is Delaque I have fallen in love with the stealth tree. Other than a few rare occasions, such as when I roll bs5 or something for a ganger their irst skill ill always be stealth. It's just far too useful not to have.

Personally I'm a bit of a fan of Muscle and Agility. Though mainly 'cause I tend to relly on gangers or juves most of the time. However gotta love some of those muscle skills, especially anything helping to travel and find shooting just a lil' easier.

Ferocity doesn't seem super appealing, but it's got some nice picks- particularly true grit and nerves of steel! But it's also fun seeing people run from my Devotee "Fatso" who earned a killer reputation (taking out three Orlocks in his first fight, including the Heavy with a bolter) when they're not afraid of the double handed chainsaw wielding maniac next to him

That's the problem with Ferocity, it's got a few really nice skills in but an awful lot of crap - I tend to pick skills trees based on what are the odds I'll get something useful (Techno is pretty much 6/6, Ferocity 2/6 at best)

I think this is entirely based on what sort of personality you tend to infuse into your gangs. I tend to be a "shooty" type of person, so I go VanSaar and Delaque. After that, Tech is a favorite, though Stealth is a VERY close second because they both mesh nicely with Shooting.

Van Saar and Delaque have nice skills that combine with Shooting (Tech and Stealth).

So, with all of that, my vote was Shooting skills, followed closely with Tech and Stealth.

I have a friend who runs a very hand-to-hand oriented gang, and his Eschers gangers with Agility, Combat and Stealth put together are NASTY! He would vote for Combat. 5 out of 6 are really nice options for him, and combined with Agility and Stealth gives him a brutal set of capabilities for hand-to-hand and getting close enough to use them.
