ok, i dont play necrons but my friend does and he has this tactic where he gets all necron wariors, 1 lord, and 3 Hdestroyers. now he keeps all of his units within 6" of the lord, who has a rez orb, so EVERYONE of his guys get the well be back thing. now personaly i think this is really really really really... you get the idea, cheep. firs off i want to know if that is a rule or not, having 1 person in a unit near the lors and they ALL get well be back, and i also want to know who thinks that he sucks for doing it, or who thinks it cheep. thanks for the input

Hmm if you didnt already know this your in for a shock but all of his warriors always get the WBB roll the ressurection orb only lets you get it against power weapons and str 8 and up weapons. Although this is a very standard necron tactic so I really dont think its very cheap.

a well placed ordance shot will put a damper on hsi day real fast.

Yes as long as ONE model in the unit is within 6" of the Lord, then the WHOLE unit gets the benefit of the orb. and YES this means that theoretically a necron player could line warriors across the board all with enhanced WBB's. This is a REALLY bad tactic though as an opponent just has to hit the end of said line and under the TAR's "pile in" rules it will at most 2 turns of CC to pull that unit out of range of the res orb.

I don't believe that it is Cheesy, because I don't think your Army will Phase Out when they get below 25%.

and Just as LordHat said there are tactical Disadvantages to this strat.

wbb is not cheap, you need it unless you want to phase out

grr, i do hate phase out btw. i phased out against a salamander sm today. he had like 4 models left and i had 14, and he made me phase out. you gotta hate phase out

ok, well the way you guys mentioned it, it isnt really that cheep, i still havent played him yet, this is just what my other friends that have played him have told me. and what is TRA? sorry for my ignorance.
