It doesn't block LOS, but they can't charge under it; they can't even get within 1" of it unless they are charging it. So they have to go around to get to any units behind it.Originally Posted by boxman101

Hmm still a loss.
This time we agreed to try a 2000 point game. I played with 6 (2quads 3)Scarbs 3with dfeilds, 40 Warriors 12,14,14, 2 lords, one with WS VoD and RO, the other with RO DB, and phy. 10 Immortals 3 HDs 3 D's 1Monolith
So he stood there and shot me with very little cover. 1) I almost wonder if the terrain set up is not very well done. Usually it's the terrain from the Battle of MacRage set, with maybe a 7"x7" flat forest 2) the average table size we play on is half of a ping pong table so think about 5' by 4' with about a usual 12" deployment 3) Maybe my rolling just sucks lol
Turned out to be a waste of points on the monolith seeing as it died under heavy lascannon fire. By the bottom of turn two it was in ruin. Immortals did their thing with the VoD, but quick question, when Immortals and the lord are in CC, and top of my (necron turn) Veil out of CC, does the opponent get a consolidation move or are they just there?
Deep Strike held me in good shape with the Immortals and Lord moving around the board, however, the Leiman Russ with the Autogun/Heavy bolter along with a helping hand from a lascannon shot from his long fangs made them run away. I must say, that having a low squad number on D's or HD's may be a bad thing? Granted this is me playing ('ve played for 2 years so among the same pool so I still consider myself a noob) what do you think about numbers in destroyers/h'ds. Also, I'd like to thank the member out there who told me about mobility and incorporating it into my strategy. Was wondering if you had anymore tips on trying to beat this person. Sadly in a row this is my 7th loss, and as ventured players I'm sure you can feel the frusturation. Thanks guys!
