Well here it is, I've already bought this army so theres no going back, also what strategy should I use.

HQ: Destroyer Lord w/Res Orb and Staff Of Light
Troopers: 26 Necron Warriors
Fast Attack: 3 Destroyers
Fast Attack: 3 Wraiths
Fast Attack: 7 Scarab Swarms

So what do you think? :handshake:

I think it looks pretty good. Nice mix of fire support and some close combat.

Of course the Lord will go with Wraiths, in 1k your opponent will have a much harder time countering wraithwing. Charge them into combat weak squads.

Keep the warrior squads next to each to support WBB. March up the board until you get into a good defensive position and let the rapid fire-death begin. In low points you don't need to worry about WBB. Don't baby your warrior squads.

Destroyers are really good flankers, try and keep them in some semblance of cover. Your opponent will be pouring a lot of fire on them, cover saves are always good to have. Destroyers are your strongest weapon, whatever is threatening your army the most should be taking focused gauss cannon fire.

Scarabs, as always are a stalling unit. Catch the opponents big nasty combat squads with them to steal some time. Or you could run them into heavy shooting squads, saving yourself from big guns wiping out your Necrons. (Noted even heavy bolters don't so so well taking out Necrons)

It's really true, other armies take tanks, Necrons take destroyers. I must say having a fourth would help more than hurt.

Instead of 4 warriors drop 2 warriors and 1 scarab. With your list priced the way it is you should balance out (you have a couple spare points for leeway.) Also this way you stay at 32 'crons and a PO of 8 instead of dropping to 7.
